Born and raised in Miami, FL, award-winning dancer and performer Eric Gil began his training at the age of 10, under the guidance and instruction of Angel Fraser Logan (contemporary dance) and Tawanna Hall Carlton (hip-hop dance) at Dance Empire in Miami. Eric has earned many awards and accolades including, best choreography, best overall, best studio, and most artistic.
Hailing from Melun, France, Lauriane has an extensive training in improvisation, ballet, contemporary, and modern, with a particular emphasis on Graham and Limón techniques. She also has a thriving passion for ballroom dance. Lauriane constantly seeks a deeper understanding of her own motion by exploring her dancers’ gifts and experimenting with emotionally inspired movements.
Born and raised in Santa Barbara, Tanja began her ballet training at Goleta Valley Community Center School of Ballet. She has danced professionally for such companies as, Charleston Ballet Theatre, Connecticut Ballet, and Northern Ballet Theatre. Over the years, she has sought to also share her knowledge and passion for dance with many young dance students throughout New York City.
Nicole has been practicing yoga for over ten years. She is a local Mama of two young girls, and owns a well-being company that provides various services for the mind, soul, and body, both for children and adults. She embodies a peaceful energy which translates to the mats for her students. In Nicole’s classes expect to find comfort, reflection and growth all while working your asana off!
Alexander Ray Gil , originally from Miami, Fl, has been dancing since the age of 11 at Dance Empire. Alexander was trained in different styles of dance under Artistic Directors, Angel Fraser Logan and Tawanna Hall Carlton. He danced with Pop Starz, was a background dancer for the Bob Marley Festival, performed for Live and Color, and was a background dancer for R&B Group B2K.
Natalie Alanna has been enamored of the arts her whole life. With a background in classical singing and piano, she was involved in every facet of the arts her schools offered—whether performing with the Madrigals, a choral group from her high school, the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich; or studying theatre at The Catholic University of America in Washington DC, where she earned her BA in Drama.
Matthew Hauer grew up with a love and passion for sports and arts. He naturally fell into the role of a dancer at the young age of 13 and has not stopped inspiring others through movement since. Matthew attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music, and Performing Arts, for Dance, and picked up ballroom dancing on the side. He received his Diploma in 2001, with a strong foundation of ballet and modern dance.
Nicole Tisi has been involved in the fitness industry for over 17 years and was inspired to create her own children’s programs. In the tri-state area, she successfully created Miss Nicole’s Karate Kids for the Ridgewood YWCA, Miss Nicole’s All Sport’s program for the JCC Rockland, Karate Kids for summer camps in the Bergen County NJ/ Rockland County School System, and Miss Nicole’s Cheerleading & Dance program.
Marci has been an athlete, fitness enthusiast, and lover of dance for most of her life. She discovered yoga in 2001 while training for marathons. Soon after, she began taking Vinyasa flow classes; she not only felt her body restoring and healing itself, but was also shocked to discover that yoga instilled in her an immense sense of focus. After years as a practicing student, she received her RYTT 200 and her Advanced Buti Yoga certification.
Born and raised in New York, Alyssa has been dancing since the age of eight. She has studied under Premier Dance Company and danced competitively around the country. She broadened her passion for dance by studying tap and jazz with the Radio City Rockettes during their exclusive summer intensive. Alyssa has also studied with world renown dancers at various workshops such as Dance America, Sheer Talent, and Dance Educators of America.
