Dance Director/Contemporary

Born and raised in Miami, FL, award-winning dancer and performer Eric Gil began his training at the age of 10, under the guidance and instruction of Angel Fraser Logan (contemporary dance) and Tawanna Hall Carlton (hip-hop dance) at Dance Empire in Miami. Eric has earned many awards and accolades including, best choreography, best overall, best studio, and most artistic.

Natalia Valdivia

Ballet / Hip-Hop

Natalia’s passion for dance started with her first hip hop class at the age of 4. Since then she has gone on to train in various styles such as ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary and modern. Natalia would also compete at various dance competitions around New Jersey winning awards and gaining recognition for her solo and group performances.

She went on to pursue her passion for dance and the arts at Elon University as an Arts Administration major and Dance and Business Management double minor. Over the past couple years, she has choreographed and produced dance performances, created a dance curriculum for beginner ballerinas and was a member of her universities hip hop team that performed at various events around campus and volunteered within the community to teach hip hop at the local Boys and Girls Club.

Alexander Ray Gil


Alexander Ray Gil , originally from Miami, Fl, has been dancing since the age of 11 at Dance Empire. Alexander was trained in different styles of dance under Artistic Directors, Angel Fraser Logan and Tawanna Hall Carlton. He danced with Pop Starz, was a background dancer for the Bob Marley Festival, performed for Live and Color, and was a background dancer for R&B Group B2K.

Malia Lam


Malia is a Junior in high school who has danced competitively since she was eight years old. However, Malia started dancing when she was just three.

From there, she developed a passion for Tap.

She has won many awards for her dancing at competitions; these range from multiple First Place awards to special ones for entertainment value.

She is extremely excited to pass along her passion.
